Our 9 manufacturing facilities (7 in Italy, 1 in Spain and 1 in USA) have been designed in compliance with the strictest international requirements.

Our manufacturing facilities are regularly inspected by the most important national and international Authorities: Italian AIFA, USFDA, KFDA, PMDA, ANVISA and are also audited by our partners and customers.

Each facility has different features but all of them are equipped for the implementation of the most advanced technologies.

TECHNOLOGY HIGHLIGHTS:

FERMENTATION
The plant has a wide range of equipment with size from Lab scale (20 Lt), pilot scale (1,000-10,000 Lt) to full industrial scale (up to 250,000 Lt) with a total capacity of ab. 3,100 m3. Batch, Fed-batch and continuous fermentation can be carried out fully equipped and with suitable Utilities to meet several process requirements. High level of automation with DCS system The plant is already authorized for GMO class 1 production. Fully GMP compliant

HIGH POTENCY DRUGS
High potency compounds, as well as cytotoxic substances, are well accommodated in specialized high containment facilities:

  • Glove boxes for powders and closed lines for liquids (n. 20);
  • Dedicated and isolated production plants;
  • Dedicated warehouse for hazardous raw materials, intermediates and finished products;
  • Dedicated Quality Control
